This isn’t my usual baby & child blog post, and this session made me realize how much I miss taking portraits of couples in love =) So I’m very excited to share these photos from one of my favorite engagement sessions that I photographed recently.
Anita and I met close to 10 years ago in biology class while we were still in nursing school. I’m glad we’ve remained friends over the years, and it was a privilege when she asked me to take some engagement portraits for her and Ray. They are having a winter wedding in Whistler (which my family and I will attend as guests), and they are incorporating the 4 seasons as their wedding theme =) I came back to Vancouver at the right time to help them take their “summer” photos =) The weather was nice and warm, and the lighting was just perfect. Their photos from the e-session were exactly how I envisioned it to be with the beautiful sunset, and I love the personal touch with the balloons as props. I had so many favorites to share, and it was difficult to narrow them down. The entire session was shot with my canon 85 mm f/1.8, my absolute go to lens at the moment for portraits.
Congratulations A&R, we’re excited to getaway for a winter wedding in Whistler!
